WHAT I WORE TO AN INDIAN WEDDING AS A BRIDESMAID PART 2

Hi darling!

So here’s part two of my friend’s wedding. If you haven’t seen part one you can check it out here.

PHERAS

This ceremony was one of my favorites. I got to see Megha dressed beautifully in a gorgeous outfit that reflected the sunlight every time she moved, paired with incredible accessories in gold and red. I can’t believe how amazing she looked.

The whole ceremony was very emotional, it was the most beautiful feeling to stand by her side and see her get married. The whole event felt really intimate and the air was so full of love and joy.

It was so lovely to see them exchanging garlands, which are made of sweet-smelling, freshly bloomed flowers, and for those of you who may not know, this act symbolizes their love and respect for each other.

Now, when it comes to my outfit, I can’t even begin to explain how much I loved it. This collab with Kalki Fashion was such an incredible opportunity since this lehenga made me feel very glamorous. The details on it reflected the light beautifully and it moved very gracefully while I danced. You can check out this beautiful lehenga right here.

SANGEET

For the reception, Megha wore this beautiful red outfit and she looked absolutely stunning. Everything about the look was on point: the hair, the makeup, the jewelry. She looked like an actual princess.

All the photos were absolutely amazing, again, thanks to Israni Photography, who did an incredible job at documenting the whole event.

For this event I wore this amazing outfit by Cedar and Pine. I loved all the detailing and the pop of color that it had. I decided to pair it with some accessories to complete the look. Again, I decided to wear snickers because after we took a while to take photos and talk for a little bit it was time to PARTY! And let me tell you guys, I had so much fun!

The stage was incredible, I feel like I danced my feet off and obviously, I was really tired the next day but it was absolutely worth it. We got to see the bride and groom dancing and looking fabulous so that was amazing.

I think it’s fair to say that this was an amazing experience. I’m glad I was able to travel to India and be at my friend’s wedding during these crazy times. I really needed this “mini-vacation”, it was a wonderful opportunity to reunite with friends and family that I hadn’t seen in a long time so I’m incredibly grateful that this was possible.

I wanted to share with you this lovely trip with a little more detail since there is only so much that I can show you on instagram. I hope you guys enjoyed reading this as much as I did writing it.

See you soon!
