As you already know, I started this series where I show you what suits YOU the best according to your body type. Last time we talked about necklines and now I want to talk about sleeves.

Sleeves can be an amazing tool to accentuate an hourglass figure if that’s what you’re looking for. They can also make your look even more interesting.

Now, as I’ve mentioned before, we can classify body shapes into three categories, so let’s jump right into it!

 Type #1

For this body type what we want to do is take the attention away from the upper part of the body, so long bell sleeves are ideal for you. They give more volume to the lower area and compensate the volume at the top. Drop shoulders also work wonders on you! 

Type #2

Since the volume at the top and the bottom of your body is already compensated I would recommend something that accentuates the waist. Any sleeve that gives volume to your shoulders and your wrists is welcome, just avoid any volume that concentrates at waist height.

Type #3

Shoulder pads, puffy sleeves and anything that gives you volume at the top is your best friend! Avoid long bell sleeves or anything that has volume around the wrists.
