Say Goodbye to 2017 with the Perfect NYE Outfit

And just like that another year is over!

I’m sure you’re thinking it too… what happened, where did the year disappear? That’s a classic reaction from all of us when we see 31st December approach.
But more than anything I think what we talk about the most is, what to wear to the New Year’s eve bash!
I for one am all about bringing in the new year in style – wouldn’t have it any other way!
So if you’re scavenging for some last minute ideas on how you can bring the glamour of the last night of the year into your outfit? My final look from the Runway Miracle series is just for you!

You can shop my look below, I’ve added similar options for the bag and coat (You can buy the exact coat, here).

Let’s get this party started, shall we?

Step 1: Sheer is Supreme
Sheer is sassy and glamorous, the two things you need to look like a million bucks on NYE. Pick a darker colored dress that is more suited for the night. The beauty of the cinch waist style maxi that I’m wearing is that it is flattering for just about any body type. So you can definitely take a leap of faith on this one. The dress I’m wearing is from M.Fredric located at Marina Del Rey, they have an amazing deal where for every purchase made at, you receive 10% back from the subtotal in a form of credit towards your next purchase the following month. Check out more details about this deal, here.

I’ve also curated some other dresses for NYE favorites that you might like.

Step 2: Boots that Shine
I am loving the sequins boots trend right now. They have this 90’s aura that’s loud and out there, perfect for parties undoubtedly. If you plan to spend the night rocking the dance floor with dance numbers from Jay-Z to K-Pop, you will need these. The one’s I’m wearing are from Jeffrey Campbell, you can get them here.

Step 3: Faux Fur Favorites
You’re going to be out at night and a layer is pretty practical to have on. But make sure the layer is just as good looking as your dress! Your outfit should scream – Fabulous!
Going for a material as classy as velvet covers all the glamour you’re going to need. I’m wearing a coat from M Fredric, you can buy it here.

That’s the easiest formula to get a NYE party outfit ready!

Inspiration: I love the sheer layers of this dress and the deep neck design. This look on the Runway was very formal so I opted for an outfit that is a little more fun!

And with that ladies, we successfully wrap up the Runway Miracle series.
So what do you think? Love it? Is there room for improvement? I would love to hear what you think about it.

Before I end this blog – the final blog of the year, I would just like to tell each one of you – Thank You!
This is my 41st blog on Runway to Road (Yay), and it takes me back to that day in 2017 when I was trying to decide if I should pursue my love for fashion or not. In the end the heart won over any arguments the brain came up with.
So thank you for supporting me and my work and I hope that the coming year brings you nothing but happiness and success, and a few episodes where your heart trumps over your brain, because that’s when true magic happens… Have a Happy New Year!
