I’m back with another beauty post for you – I know these are rare. I’m not excessively into trying out new products, and I tend to lean on keeping things more organic and natural.
But once in a while, a product comes along that tugs at my heartstrings and I can’t help but share it with you all.
So here’s my review of the popular Ouai Memory Mist, with a little bit of a backstory. 🙂
A couple months ago I was reading a blog by Chriselle Lim on The Chriselle Factor where she was talking about prominent hair problems that women face and she was urging people to talk about them.
For me, my biggest issue when it comes to my hair is – volume.
I have too much of it, and styling it becomes a bit of an issue.
Styling thicker hair also means more heat, and I hate putting my hair through so much. But as an upcoming blogger, you gotta do what you gotta do right?
Can’t have my hair looking not so good during shoots!
Lucky for me, the Chriselle team stepped in with a solution – Memory Mist by Ouai.
Let me tell you more!
What is a Memory Mist?
The Memory Mist by Ouai is a weightless mist that is activated by the heat of any dryer or iron and locks in the style or texture.
This literally translates into having lesser heat styling done because your styling tends to last longer.
That’s not all, this mist also provides heat protection and UV rays protection.
Is there something it cannot do? I don’t think so!
How To Use It?
You can mist it slightly onto your slightly damp or dry hair prior to using any heat treatment on it.
Runway to Road Recommends: Ouai (Qui Qui!)
- My very first impression of the mist as soon as I sprayed it was – My this smells so good! Believe me, it does.
- I also noticed an instant shine on my hair, which was very surprising.
- It leaves your hair feeling smoother and silkier.
- I compared my hair on Day 2, and the memory mist does work! It wasn’t completely perfect as the day of the styling, but it was still intact. And that in itself is a testimony to how amazing this product is.
If you are someone who styles your hair very often, then I most definitely recommend it to you.
The cost is a little on the luxury side at $28, so definitely not drugstore. You can buy it here.
But you don’t need to use a lot of it, so it will last you a lot longer.
Hope you find this review helpful!
