Age spots, premature wrinkles, saggy skin, these are any woman’s nightmare!
To be honest, the current lifestyle we lead with unending work hours and spending whatever free time we have binge-watching shows instead of catching up on some much needed down-time for our bodies is the true guilty party here.
It’s been a few months since I have started making some lifestyle changes, working out being one of them and this has resulted in some fantastic results for my body and my skin.
Alongwith a strict workout regime (Primarily responsible for that glowy skin) I have been experimenting with some DIY beauty ideas. You can count on me to tell you what works and what doesn’t.
Before we get any older, let me tell you about a great DIY recipe that works wonders for those early-wrinkles and age spots.
What’s you’re going to need is:
Ingredient 1: Bowl of mixed berries (Blueberries/Strawberries/Blackberries – Whatever you can get your hands on) Berries are loaded with Vitamins and antioxidants the more of these you’ve got the better
Ingredient 2: Organic full-fat plain yogurt – The lactic acid found in yogurt is great for tightening pores and it also helps dissolve dead skin
Ingredient 2: Honey – Moisturizing, soothing, antibacterial and YUMMY
Step 1: Blend the berries together until they are all smooth and combined
Step 2: Mix the blended berries in a bowl that contains 2 tablespoons of yogurt
Step 3: Add two tablespoons of honey to it and mix some more
Your age-fighting mask is ready to be applied on your face. Leave it on for 15-20 minutes before you rinse it off!
Try it out twice a week for great results – You might have to cut down on some Netflix, but hey, I promise you that the results are going to be worth it.
